ok...i finally remembered the name of the pub at Chimes..its Father Flanagen...too bad its too crowded tonight..or i would have gladly gone in for a couple of drinks...

they even put up posters outside saying.." help wanted to drink Father Flanagen dry!" heh... guess thats what happens when a pub's about to close down...now i have one less place to chill out ler...sianz...

mm...later going for fish and chips dinner at chimes' Father Fl***..pardon me..but i dunno the full name of the pub...heh...but why go there for fish and chips? according to martin, they have great F/C there and the pub's closing..so i thnk they have some promotion thingy going on... dun understand why its closing...cuz i thnk tt place is quite popular... nvm...

i really do need inspiration when i blog...or when i need to do any write-ups...un-inspired pieces are not moving when read... and i have absolutely no inspiraiton now... thats why, even though i have a report article due tml night at 8pm, i'm not writing anth yet...simply because i have no inspiration of how to go abt writing it...despite the fact tt i had the contents drafted out in point form...its for my business finance project FYI...heh...

i'm feeling so stress about my 5th sem now... although its still quite sometime away before i'm moving up to sem 5..but today's finance lecturer was telling us tt in sem 5, one of the modules would be very closely related to sem 2's financial accounting and sem 3's managerial accounting....all of which, i had forgotten most part of it when i cleared my exams....problem..problem....

nvm...no use worrying abt it anyways...i'll enjoy myself tonight first...den settle this sem's modules then i start working on my accounts during the hols...if i worry and do nth, nth is achieved anyways...so might as well resolve my worries by acting in practical ways...its more logiacal isn't it? heh...

but no inspiration is really no inspiration...just have nth in mind to write at all...well..shall end here then...shall be back when my inspiration is back... tatas!!

cool!! this sem's operations and total quality management module has a very interesting project requirement... and part of it is as follows:

Your task is as follows:

Call up individual supermarket respectively. (ask for name of sales person)

Enquire about a particular product no longer available or sold in Singapore (Slim Jim Beef Jerky).

Ask for an explanation as to why product is no longer available.

Enquire if it is possible to place a special order for it with the supermarket.

At anytime, should the staff on the line be unable to provide a satisfactory answer, ask to speak to someone with authority. ( I.e. Supervisor, department head, manager)

Next, enquire about a particular flavour of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. (chocolate fudge brownie or something)
Ask if it is able to be reserved and available for collection on a specific day. (make the appointment the day after)

If flavour is not available, ask it they are able to make a special order of it.
Reserve 4 pints.

On the day of collection, do not turn up on purpose.

See if supermarket will call you back to check if you still want the product.

Apologise and decline politely.

At all times, take note of their behaviour, mannerism with close reference to the 10 dimensions of service quality, the checklist and the lecture notes.

LOL...now u guys know wat i mean? its so fun...this is only a small part of it...there'll be a part 2 where we'll be going down to the 2 supermarket and do the same thing there and i'm going to be the actor while the rest of my grpmates shall observe...i can't wait for everything to start.. hopefully things would go smoothly this time round as compared to last sem's projects!!

whoa..in the end i wasn't driving a swift...the rental uncle gave me a brand new honda fit instead... but it was not bad too...heh...at least i was able to try out stunts like tyre spinning(taught by martin and my yang yang) and an accidental cornering at 70km/h..heh..it was accidental cuz i didn't step on my brake during the cornering and so the momentum cause it to accelerate while it cornered...heh...good thing chuen hwee didn't vomit or anth...

heh..but i'm really really pleased with myself...3 days of driving day and night...and doing lots of parking...my skills improved so quickly tt even i surprised myself...heh...and i'm definitely much more of a safe driver esp wen it comes to lane changing...

heh...but i did get a little tired of driving on the second day..but whatever it is...the days i had a car was so damn convenient...and it would have been more convenient if i knew the roads better...
on the night before i was supposed to return my car..i actually had to drive home from jalan kayu myself...good thing i had paid attention during the times yang drove me home so i didn't had too much prob when i drove myself home... and i had a great time being the only car speeding on the road..went till 130km/h...so shiok...heh...

but haiz....since then i had no more car to drive...eversince yang took out his p-plate and gave it to me, i kept forgetting to bring it out...so i couldn't drive....speaking of which...thnk i shld go put it into my bag now since i can rmb now.. shall update again...cya!!
